Order tickets for the 50/50 Fundraiser Raffle

1. Tickets

Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

10 for $20.00; 2500 tickets
30 for $50.00; 3000 tickets
100 for $100.00; 10000 tickets

The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

Maximum 50/50 payout will be $10,000.00.
3. Important Dates & Draw Information

Final ticket sales deadline: April 7, 2022 at 8:00:00 p.m. PDT

Draw
50/50 draw: April 7, 2022 at 8:30:00 p.m. PDT

Draw will be held at Sutton Place Hotel, 845 Burrard St, Vancouver BC V6Z 2K6

The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG).

All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

Winners will be posted online at https://palsgala.rafflenexus.com/winners on April 7, 2022.
4. Winner

Winner will be contacted by phone by the PALS Autism Society.

Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the PALS Autism Society or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.
5. Privacy

PALS Autism Society does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

Autism is a lifelong neurological disorder requiring continuous care and support. Currently there is no known cause or cure for autism.
It is the fastest growing, most commonly diagnosed neurological disorder in Canada marked by:
- Impairment in communication
- Impairment in reciprocal social interaction
- Presence of repetitive and unusual patterns of behaviours, interests and activities
1 in 59 children are now diagnosed as having the autism spectrum disorder with diagnoses increasing 100% over the past 10 years. Autism is 5 x more likely in boys than girls.
33% of individuals with autism are non-verbal.
Autism is called a spectrum disorder (ASD) because severity of impairment presents differently in every individual.
ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis) is the science that studies how environmental changes affect behaviour. Research shows ABA is an effective intervention for individuals with autism.

Can I request a specific ticket number?
No. Ticket numbers are computer-generated in ascending order starting at a pre-determined number.

What are the odds of winning?
Chances are 1 in 15,500 (total tickets for sale) to win a prize. Actual odds depend on number of tickets sold.
